Our story
20+ Years and counting ...
Toronto's Bilingual Church (French/English)
The New Covenant Assembly was born out of the will of God and revealed to His servants Elie Kabongo, Laurent Mukendi, and Kache Kashala to carry out a specific mission in Toronto, Canada, America, and the world. On July 23, 2000, the New Covenant Assembly was founded on the basis of a mandate, a mission, and a role to be played. It sees its vocation as a true family of children of God with the principles of love, holiness, fellowship, unity, peace, and joy as the foundation of its walk.
It is bilingual (French/English) and gathers the redeemed children of God of all tribes, races, languages, and having in common Jesus Christ as the source of salvation and who have responded and obeyed the supreme command received from Him. (Math.28: 19-20).
Established to operate indefinitely, the New Covenant Assembly has its principal location in Toronto, Ontario, and may open branches in other cities in Canada and beyond. It aims to be a great assembly of impact and influence, a significant ministry that owns real estate and asset goods, as well as schools, hospitality services, and training programs.
Under the immovable will of God, the New Covenant Assembly was built to be a true landmark for the French-speaking Christian community of Greater Toronto, a strengthening force for the body of Christ, and a genuine aid to the poor, the orphans, and the victims of calamities throughout the world.

Our Vision
- Our vision is to build a great multicultural and multiracial congregation that reaches out to all corners of our society.
Our Mission
Over and above the obedience of the supreme mission given to us by Jesus Christ our Lord, in Matthew 28:18-20, the New Covenant Assembly aims :
- To establish a great French-speaking church in Ontario, that is to say, a reference and a landmark for all French-speaking Christians living in this province.
- As a missionary, to reach out and care for the local community by preaching the good news of salvation and offering them various services.
- To prepare the church, the bride of Christ, for the day of his coming, that he may find her well adorned, without spot or wrinkle; ready for the divine marriage of the Lord. (Eph 5: 26-27)
- To strengthen the fellowship and communion of believers by demonstrating God’s love through our works and possessions. (Acts. 2:42)
- To fight sin in all its forms and help Christians to remain holy and strong in Christ Jesus. (Jude 1:3)
- To take up one another’s burdens by supporting one another in prayer. (Galatians 6:2)
- To train and promote servants for the unity, cohesion and expansion of the body of Christ by making it useful and fit for every good work. (2 Tim 2:2).

Mission & Compassion
Compassion
The New Covenant Church raises a love offering for its Mission & Compassion account. We support any world crisis and worthy cause for the poor and destitute, near and far.
Fund Raising
In aim to support the mission, the church is raising building funds in order to enlarge its facilities such as hospitality center, training program & kids school project.
humanitarian aid
Caring for the local community is to freely give food supply, clothing, spiritual guidance, ongoing family support of all kinds. Our church is requesting your love offering to help us achieve these necessities.

Our Passion
Passion is a virtue …
The passion of the church.
We have a passion for :
- The establishment of a church for today, a church of significant impact here in Canada.
- The establishment of a “spiritual hospital” church where men and women work to help individuals find healing and complete restoration of their spiritual, family, marital and social lives.
- Families are core units of believers and of the church in order to establish their value, significance, and priorities.
- A youth of conquerors in the image of Joshua and Caleb, totally restored, committed, and determined, walking in strict respect of God’s principles for a changed world.
- An imaginative and dynamic Christian education deeply devoted to children.
- Adult mentoring and counseling to raise a generation of men and women of integrity, credibility, effectiveness, consecration, and commitment to the family, church, and the community.
- A freedom of prayer, praise, and worship that is inspired, directed, and responsive to the Holy Spirit, aiming at presenting true worshippers to the Lord.
- Evangelism that is based on personal witness supported by works of compassion and a Christ-like lifestyle.
- A solid, transparent, family-oriented personal lifestyle infused with humility, consecration, integrity, and service.
- An open, prominent, and tangible social involvement in the local community through practical aid and assistance programs that is consistent with the Christ-like model of love and self-giving and historic Christian mindset.

Our Confession of Faith
For without faith it is impossible to please God!
Faith Foundations of the church
We believe:
- In only one God, Sovereign, Almighty and Wise, Creator of the visible and invisible universe, living in three persons of the same essence: Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
- In Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, true God, and man. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He took on our sins and was crucified under Pontius Pilate, died and was buried, He rose again on the third day, He is Lord.
- To the Holy Spirit, one with the Father and the Son whom He glorifies. He was given to the church at Pentecost; He still acts today and gives gifts to believers.
- That the entire bible, consisting of 66 canonical books, Old and New Testament, is entirely the word of God. It reveals God and his plan of salvation in Jesus Christ. Inspired by God, it is clothed with Divine authority. No revelation can change it.
- That man and woman were created in the image of God to live in accordance with Him.
- In the salvation of man, a free gift of God, founded on the extraordinary sacrifice of Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again.
- That the church is the gathering of the redeemed of God through Jesus Christ from all races, cultures, nations, and languages, it is the body of Christ of which he is the head.
- That the church will be raptured at the second coming of Jesus Christ in person, at the time appointed by God. This is our hope.
- We believe in marriage as a divine recommendation between a male and a female as inspired by the creator from the garden of Eden.
