Music Department

The NCA music department is one of the first active ministries from the beginning of the church.  NCA has always been graced with gifted praise and worship ministers who live by the glamorous sound of the presence of the almighty!

Their mandate is quite radical:

” Each new opportunity of service to God on His church altar, we must issue solemn invitations to the people of God ( and non-believers) to experience the presence of God; to sing and worship that Jesus is Lord! ”

J.R Djulus ( Music department leader)

Ladies Department

We are so proud of our Ladies/Sisters team, a very compassionate team of zealous ladies of God active in the church’s social/ family concerns.
They often gather in workshops & in prayer sessions to teach, train, and equip virtuous ladies (from various adulthood generations).

Led by Sis Nanette Shirandi, our sister’s department is one of the main supporting pillars of the church. We thank God for them.

Men Department

Led by a community President, Jean-Paul Idikai, the men’s department is another solid ministry within the church.
They have a powerful and effective gathering of prayer sessions together.

If not in prayer, the men’s group likes to organize fellowship activities such as BBQ, couple events, and life investments… to name a few.  Feel free to inquire for more details.

Children' Department

The department’s foundation is taken from the book of the Bible (Proverbs 22:6), which says: instruct the child how he should go when he grows up.
the child, according to the way he should go when he grows up he will not turn away from it.
Wisdom tells us that today’s society will be what the youth will have done. Jesus says: “Whoever receives a little child in my name, the same receives me” (Matthew 18:1-6)

Baptism

When Christians are baptized, they fulfill the command of Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20), are submerged in water to identify with the death of Jesus, and rise out of the water to identify with His resurrection.
Romans 6:1-10; Colossians 2:12; 2 Corinthians 5:17 This identification with the death burial and resurrection through baptism testifies to the fact that we believe, by faith, that Jesus dies for our sins, was buried, rose three days later, and now is alive and Lord over all of creation.

How Does God Save?

We will periodically schedule baptisms throughout the year. If you would like to be added to our next baptism, please fill out one of the forms below:
  • Children (Grades K – 5th) – HERE
  • Students (Grades 6th – 12) – HERE
  • Adults – HERE

Who Should Be Baptized?

If you’ve made a commitment to Jesus, we encourage you to follow Jesus’ command to be baptized as a public profession of your faith in Him.

If you haven’t made a commitment to Jesus, we encourage you to learn more about Salvation HERE. Then after confessing your faith, we invite you to be baptized to make a public confession of your faith. It’s a declaration that the old has gone and the new is here (2 Corinthians 5:17).

What Should I Wear?

*A dark-colored TPHND t-shirt will be provided for you

  • Do wear pants (i.e. sweats, leggings, swim shorts, etc) NO JEANS!
  • Do wear under garments (i.e. underwear, bras, etc)
  • Do wear aqua socks or swim shoes
  • Do bring a pair of shoes to wear after getting out of the pool
  • Do bring a change of clothing and undergarments
  • Do bring a swim cap if you are concerned about getting your hair wet
  • Do not wear body lotion or baby oil
  • Do not wear jewelry
  • Do not wear shoes or socks into the baptismal pool

What to expect?

You’ll see each person about to be baptized talking with one of the church leaders in the pool. They’re answering basic questions such as:

  • “Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God?”
  • “Do you believe that your sin has separated you from God?”
  • “Have you repented of that sin?”
  • “Do you believe that Jesus died and rose, conquering Satan, sin and death?”

And Then…

  • We say a short prayer as an affirmation of faith.
  • You’re baptized by immersion in water.

discipleship

In Foundation (Discipleship) Classes, we look closely at what we believe and what it means to be a “disciple” – a follower of Christ. You will gain a better understanding of the purpose of the local and universal church.

Whether you are a new believer or you’ve been a believer in Christ for decades, in this class you will receive tools to help you grow and disciple others. The four-week classes meet on Sundays, in the Resource Training Room from 10:45 – 11:30 am.

Classes begin on the 1st Sunday of each month and meet four (4) consecutive weeks

A few of the sessions include…

  • Why We Exist as a Church
  • What is Salvation
  • What Happens After Salvation
  • and more…
